Explorer and editor

The Explorer is a file tree and editor for a chat’s folder. It replaces the chat’s transcript in place, so the agent stays one keystroke away. Toggle it with ⌘E (CtrlE on Linux).

Action macOS Linux
Quick Open by file name ⌘P CtrlP
Search the workspace ⌘⇧F CtrlShiftF

In both, use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open and Esc to close.

Files open in tabs.

Action macOS Linux
Save ⌘S CtrlS
Close tab ⌘W CtrlW
Next or previous tab CtrlTab / Ctrl⇧Tab CtrlTab / CtrlShiftTab
Find and replace ⌘⌥F from the find bar

Syntax highlighting covers Rust, TypeScript, TSX, JavaScript, Python, Go, Swift, Java, C, C++, Ruby, Bash, CSS, HTML, TOML, YAML, Markdown, SQL and diffs.

When an agent mentions a file that exists, as a Markdown link or in inline code, the path becomes a link. Click it to open the file in the Explorer at that line.

Opening an image from the Explorer, Quick Open, a chat link or an attachment shows it in the image viewer.
